Koosh
So...i haven't written here in ages. And i am coming back with an utterly serious posting. I was reading Time today, and there was a mention of a Koosh Ball. Now i had totally forgotten these existed. They were those weird smelling rubber kinda things. I used to have one. No idea what colour. All i remember is that they were really good for pegging at people coz they didn't really hurt. A stupid pointless toy (is it a toy?) that i remembered today. So i am now sharing that deep thought with you all.
What toys did you love? Any insignificant ones like the Koosh?

i totally remember them! in fact, we sell things quite similar to them at work, although not quite teh same as the original...
but you know what it made me think of?! the Slinky! who knew watching something 'walk' down stairs would be so much fun!?!
Ah camel. And here i was about to log on to your blog ready to question you as to why no posts lately and there is this fascinating article on the beloved koosh balls.
I still have two of mine somewhere - bright purple and green and they were awesome!
But i think my favourite toys came from a place called the Enchanted Forest (already you wish you could all go there huh?) It was up at chatswood (and i think was replaced by something as disgusting as a Body Shop) but they sold me my first ever 'puggle'. Does anyone else know what they are? now that place made great toys...

oh my word i LOVE koosh! they were so awesome. my sister and i used to have a fairly obscene collection of trolls, and a LOT of barbies (she started cutting of their hair at one stage...i was sad...)
i actually had a furby (sad, i know), and it was irritating us so we put it in the fridge - and it actually said "brrrr" - CREEPY!
